Every once in a while, we see a Facebook comment expressing concern about the cost of our yoga pants, but have you ever considered the real cost of buying cheaper clothing that is made overseas?

Filmmaker Andrew Morgan is addressing that very issue in his upcoming film The True Cost. We don’t need to get into the details here, but suffice it to say that the human and ecological consequences that come along with cheap clothing are bad. Very bad. We are passionate about making clothing that is environmentally and socially responsible because we love life, and we love the planet we’re living on. The planet has done really well by us humans over the years, and we might just the slightest effort to try and return the favor, even if it means paying a few dollars more, or not making quite as much money as we could.

We run our company on very low margins in order to support the principles that so desperately need to be supported. Our fabric is hyper eco-freindly, and the yarn, fabric, and clothing is all made in the US, providing jobs and real wages.

Even though we’re pretty sure we make the most expensive men’s yoga pants the Earth has ever known, when you factor in the true costs of clothing and fabric made overseas, our stuff seems dirt cheap by comparison.
